Many hip hop artists are celebrated for their "come up" or "glow up". The underdog or the misunderstood rappers are often championed by fans and hip hop enthusiasts. The ghetto, hood, bando and trap are home base for many rap superstars. The new wave of hip hop may not come from a place of struggle.
What about the rappers that were born rich? The argument is never-ending but it is an argument that should continue because the face of hip hop is changing. The kings and queens of hip hop have children that obviously will not experience the hardships of their megastar parents. For example, Christian Combs, the spawn of Diddy, is a rapper. He definitely has the look and swag to take over hip hop but are people really checking for his talent since his father is Diddy? I say let the talent speak for itself but the Internet takes no prisoners and they regularly attempt to rip apart music dreams. People want a Gucci Mane or 21 Savage storyline behind the music. Fans can be a little hard on silver spoon rappers. After some internet digging, we found some rappers that were born rich.
