Many hip hop artists are celebrated for their "come up" or "glow up". The underdog or the misunderstood rappers are often championed by fans and hip hop enthusiasts. The ghetto, hood, bando and trap are home base for many rap superstars. The new wave of hip hop may not come from a place of struggle.
What about the rappers that were born rich? The argument is never-ending but it is an argument that should continue because the face of hip hop is changing. The kings and queens of hip hop have children that obviously will not experience the hardships of their megastar parents. For example, Christian Combs, the spawn of Diddy, is a rapper. He definitely has the look and swag to take over hip hop but are people really checking for his talent since his father is Diddy? I say let the talent speak for itself but the Internet takes no prisoners and they regularly attempt to rip apart music dreams. People want a Gucci Mane or 21 Savage storyline behind the music. Fans can be a little hard on silver spoon rappers. After some internet digging, we found some rappers that were born rich. This is the highest number of STDs ever reported. “STDs are out of control with enormous health implications for Americans,” David Harvey, executive director of the National Coalition of STD Directors said. “The coalition represents state, local and territorial health departments who focus on preventing STDs. If not treated, gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis can have serious consequences, such as infertility, neurological issues, and an increased risk for HIV.” The infection rates for HIV and herpes are not included. Only gonorrhea, syphilis and chlamydia are mandated to be reported to CDC physicians. The CDC estimates that about 20 million new cases exist in the United States. The group most at risk are between the ages of 15-24.

October 12 is 'French Montana Day' in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Florida.
The city's Mayor, Philip Levine, made the big announcement on opening day of the REVOLT Music Conference. The Morocco-born and New York-raised rapper was excited and thanked his Bad Boy label boss Diddy and Mayor Phillip Levine for the honor. In these digital times, many Indie artists only distribute digital copies of their music through websites, email, and streaming services.
So... Why make CDs?
Digital distribution is great but keep a few CDs on hand as well. You never know who's hands that CD will end up in. Got music block? A new Facebook Messenger bot can help. Apple recently rolled out an Apple Music Messenger Bot that allows users to find new music with their favorite emojis. The user simply types in an emoji and music playlists, albums and/or artists that match up to that emoji will be sent back to you. This is very interesting. The Internet will definitely win with this. There will be several silly screenshots of emoji playlist returns and I'm here for it.
Will the praying hands emoji return a Lecrae playlist? How about smoke emoji returning a Snoop Dog playlist? Better yet, will the "girl looking in the mirror" return Migos "Bad and Boujee".
Fetty Wap is taking steps to trademark his stage name.
The Paterson, New Jersey rapper filed legal documents to protect the name. If the trademark is granted, Fetty Wap will be the only person allowed to use the name for music and merchandise purposes. Good luck to Fetty. Secure the bag!

Hip hop artist, Picasso De'France is from Paterson, NJ but has been living/recording in Atlanta for about 4 years. So of course, he's visited a strip club or two but believe it or not, mostly to promote his music. Strip Clubs in Atlanta are Ground Zero for breaking hip hop records.
Don't believe me, ask Atlanta hip hop icon, Big Boi. He ranked America's Best Strip Clubs for the New York Post. Click HERE to read! Follow these steps to get Strip Club spins!
Last year, Picasso De'France released a strip club anthem. Check out the video for Nothing But. It can be hard to get your music heard and just posting on your social media sites may not get you the attention you desire.
